KATHRYN MANDAL, MD, FAAP
BOARD CERTIFIED PEDIATRICIAN
Dr. Mandal enjoys long-term relationships with her patients and watching their families grow. She focuses on preventative care and keeping her patients healthy with safety tips, immunizations, and lots of time for questions at well visits.
Dr. Mandal was born in New Jersey and lived in 13 states before graduating high school at the young age of 14. She attended Smith College in Massachusetts and then worked in research at Duke University, publishing her first paper in a scientific journal by age 20.
After attending medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, she completed her training in Pediatrics at Stony Brook Medical Center in Long Island, NY. In 2006 she moved back to Texas with her family and has lived in the Keller area ever since.
Dr. Mandal joined Continuum in 2016 to provide a unique place in her community where patients would have access to same-day appointments and see their own doctor as often as possible. As a mother of an ex-preemie with health issues as an infant, she understands how difficult it can be for families to deal with a sick child and works hard to make convenient access to health care a priority.
In her free time, Dr. Mandal enjoys cooking and spending time with her two young boys and husband, a local gastroenterologist. Dr. Mandal has always said, “she has the best job in the world.”
